It’s no secret that I’m a self confessed colour lover so when Matilda and I started discussing this shoot, I really wanted to curate something that stood out from the crowd and gave couples a bit of a permission slip to really go for it with their styling choices. I started thinking about an overall vibe and what we might be able to create within the Singer Tavern space - The venue really lends itself to a fun aesthetic, so reaching out to suppliers with equally playful styles was super important from the get go. Colour is such a big part of who we are at Studio Dine, but it’s always been about using colour in a really considered way and pairing that with elements that add interest. There’s definitely an art to it.

The shoot ended up having a lot of Spring inspiration. Fun and fresh vibes, but still considered, stylish, modern. I think we really nailed that with the zesty, citrus tones we chose to use. I just knew they’d look amazing with the green tiles in the space. Lots of colour blocking ensured the contemporary style stayed at the forefront, with pops of pink to add a little something extra within the stationery and tableware elements.
